Lessons from iNNTD Amsterdam & NannyCon London

In April, I embarked on a journey that took me across borders and into the heart of two significant events in the nanny industry: iNNTD Amsterdam and NannyCon in London. These experiences were not just about attending conferences; they were about diving deep into discussions, sharing insights, and connecting with fellow professionals from around the world.

First stop: iNNTD Amsterdam. Hosted by Holgate Nannies on April 13th, this event was a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and expertise. As a speaker at iNNTD, I had the privilege of shedding light on the intricacies of working for high-profile, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients. From managing unique family dynamics to providing exceptional care tailored to individual needs, the session delved into the nuances that make this sector of nanny work both challenging and rewarding.

One of the most enriching aspects of iNNTD Amsterdam was the opportunity to engage with peers and industry leaders. Through workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions, I gained fresh perspectives, learned new strategies, and forged valuable connections that continue to inspire my professional journey.

After Amsterdam, I made my way to NannyCon in London, an event that celebrates the diverse talents and contributions of nannies worldwide. NannyCon wasn't just a conference; it was a celebration of our profession, a platform to honor our dedication, skills, and passion for childcare.

At NannyCon, I immersed myself in a whirlwind of workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions. Topics ranged from anti-racism in early years to play in nature, and education to self-care and career advancement. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as nannies from different backgrounds shared their stories, wisdom, and tips for success.

One of the highlights of NannyCon was the sense of community it fostered. Connecting with fellow nannies, exchanging stories and strategies, and learning from each other's experiences created a vibrant tapestry of knowledge and camaraderie.

Both iNNTD Amsterdam and NannyCon in London were transformative experiences that reaffirmed the importance of continuous learning, collaboration, and advocacy within the nanny profession.

As I reflect on these events, I carry forward a wealth of insights, friendships, and renewed passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.

To all the nannies out there, remember that your dedication and expertise are invaluable.

Keep learning, growing, and shining bright in your noble role as caregivers and mentors.

Till next time, hugs and smiles xo
